Net Neutrality is in Danger

Post by Mountaindude246 on Fri Apr 25, 2014 5:21 am

Net neutrality is dying. If the FCC (the American government's communication regulator) goes through with its new rules, us consumers will pay more for the same internet because of petty negotiations between ISPs and businesses. Also, the days of start up companies making it big on the internet like Google, Youtube, and Facebook will end. This will have a worldwide impact because of the multinational nature of the internet and the businessses involved as well as its heavy use in America. This has to stop now.

Guys someone made a petition on We the People about net neutrality restoration. If it reaches 100,000 signatures, the white house will have to respond to it. It has a bit over 40,000 right now. You should sign it if it lets you.
